GEAR UP!

Behind great service are great people!

Our service technicians ensure that our customers’ crane systems and hoists run efficiently. As a service technician, you can expect to engage in a broad range of varying duties – from planned maintenance and servicing to solving complex tasks that challenge you as a professional within a variety of industrial environments.

The role of a service technician

As a service technician, you'll be the go-to expert for our customers, working closely with the service manager and local salesperson. Your responsibilities will include servicing, inspecting, and modernizing cranes, troubleshooting issues, and installing new cranes. Additionally, you'll guide customers on the proper use of our equipment and recommend maintenance and repair actions, always prioritizing their needs and safety.

Service technicians play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our customers' material handling equipment. By ensuring that cranes and lifting systems are in optimal condition, they help prevent downtime and enhance productivity. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Who could be suited for the role

As a rule, our service technicians are qualified specialists, such as electricians, mechatronics engineers, or individuals with a comparable electrical engineering qualification. The position is also suitable for those who have good knowledge in at least one of the following areas: industrial electronics, control technology, drive technology, and/or frequency converters. In addition to the specialist qualification, a valid car driving license, the ability to work at heights, and good knowledge of working with a smartphone are essential.

You should enjoy working in a team and be willing to take on new challenges. The role demands a combination of technical expertise and excellent communication skills, as you'll be interacting with customers regularly. Being adaptable and open to continuous learning is also crucial, given the rapid advancements in automation technology and the digitalization of industry.
