Trainee, Product Security

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Security Trainee to support our security team activities across our product ecosystem. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform threat modeling and risk assessments and help them in implementation of security processes and guidelines. You will actively participate in security reviews and assist in the creation of internal documentation to drive continuous improvement of our security posture. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product security while working alongside experienced security professionals. In this role you will report to Basit Syed, Head of Product Security. The position is located in Hyvinkää or Espoo, Finland.

What kind of talent are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles, along with experience in secure software development. Familiarity with security tools and scripting languages is beneficial, as is the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for staying up to date on the latest security trends and technologies are essential for success in this role. If you are eager to expand your cybersecurity skill set and contribute to protecting our products and customers, we would love to hear from you.

What should you bring?

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles
• Practical experience in secure software development
• Knowledge of security standards and frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST) and their relevance to product security
• Familiarity with security tools
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
