Michal Perez, Senior Sales Engineer at Konecranes, has always been driven by her passion for engineering. “My journey began at the Technological University of the Philippines, where I fell in love with the complexity and creativity of engineering,” she shares. Joining Konecranes in 2016 through the Graduate Engineering Program, Michal steadily progressed to her current role by 2024.
Her background in costing engineering has shaped her unique approach to sales. “Understanding manufacturing, design, and pricing enables me to craft budget-friendly proposals that customers trust,” she explains. “Strategic planning and clear communication ensure every project meets expectations and drives satisfaction.”
As a woman thriving in a male-dominated field, Michal is a role model. “I aim to inspire others and prove that diverse perspectives drive innovation,” she says. For aspiring engineers, her advice is clear: “Believe in yourself, seek mentorship, and embrace challenges as growth opportunities. Engineering is a lifelong journey of learning.”
