“There are so many opportunities for growth and professional development here at Konecranes. If you are looking to join a company and truly feel part of something special, regardless of your background, then KC is the place for you!”

Emily Jayne Henton | Assistant Management Accountant

What’s your career story before joining Konecranes?
I started working from a young age, with the first few years spent in Retail. I worked my way right from the bottom up and learnt so much in the process. For the last 7 years, I have been building my career in Finance/Accounting and studied part time to obtain my qualifications. Working from the ground up, really helped me to understand how different businesses operate and how to use financial data to make a real difference.

How do you feel about your journey with Konecranes?

I started with Konecranes 2 years ago now, as an Assistant Management Accountant, supporting multiple countries with their Management Accounts. More recently I was promoted to Business Controller! I can only speak to my experience, but the people I have worked with at Konecranes are kind, supportive and encourage you to be the best version of yourself. KC challenges the “norm” and continuously looks for ways to improve both as business and as an employer.

What insight would you give to female applicants considering joining Konecranes?
Don’t hesitate! There are so many opportunities for growth and professional development here at Konecranes. If you are looking to join a company and truly feel part of something special, regardless of your background, then KC is the place for you!

I have no regrets about my time at Konecranes and can honestly say that I look forward to continuing to develop my career with them.
