To support our growth as well as our customers', we are looking for a permanent Technical Support Specialist to join our Technical Support Team composed of 7 people.

VERLINDE in a few figures:

  • Annual turnover: 60-65M€
  • 1/3 of revenue: France (the brand’s historic market)
  • 1/3 of revenue in Europe
  • 1/3 of revenue in long-distance exports (Middle East, Asia, Africa and South America).

Location: Vernouillet in France, or any location in EMEA at Konecranes.


Job Description

Ensure our customers’ satisfaction by providing professional, solutions-oriented support for VERLINDE’s overhead crane projects; 

  • Support VERLINDE customers proactively seeking solutions in their overhead crane projects, which involves: 
    •  Researching technical solutions that meet our customers’ needs and our product specificities; 
    • Preparing special quotations in collaboration with the Group’s factories support teams; 
    • Assisting the sales teams with special projects; 
    •  Taking part in the launch of special orders with our factories. 
  • Answering technical questions from customers and end-users; 
  • Training VERLINDE teams and our partners on our products, sharing your knowledge in a professional and approachable manner. 

You will be in daily contact with customers, field and back-office sales representatives, warranty department, and KONECRANES Group’s factories and platforms, providing them with your technical support. 

This position involves travels in France and abroad (moderate). We welcome applicants from across Europe and the Middle East in countries where Konecranes operates. 


Qualifications

Your profile: 

  • Technician/Engineer ideally trained in mechanics, mechatronics, electromechanics or electrical (industrial)
  • Basic CAD knowledge/experience to modify and read drawings 
  • Ability to work in a team 
  • Autonomous and able to coordinate own work 
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn 
  • Proactive and act with a strong awareness of how your decisions and actions impact the business’s financial and strategic success 
  • Strong human qualities focused on customer satisfaction 
  • English required (written and spoken communication). 
  • Command of French is an advantage but not a must for applicants residing outside France
