We are looking for a Team Lead in HR Operations Service Center for our location in Düsseldorf to start as soon as possible:
As a Team Leader in HR Operations, you will be part of our global HR Service Center at Konecranes and will take on the leadership of our Employee Lifecycle team at our Wetter and Düsseldorf locations. Together, you will ensure efficient HR shared services throughout the entire employee lifecycle – from onboarding to offboarding – and actively drive the continuous development of processes, systems, and services.
What you can do with us:
- Team leadership & development: Professional and disciplinary leadership of the employee lifecycle team, including resource planning, ensuring staffing levels, conducting employee appraisals, and promoting individual development and training in processes and tools.
- Operational HR process management (hire-to-retire): Overall responsibility for the administrative HR processes in the domain scope from onboarding to offboarding, including system administration, contract and document management, organizational changes, time management, compensation, and coordination of mass data transactions.
- Stakeholder Management & Service Quality: Close cooperation with HR, managers, and the works council, other Service Center teams, Competence Centers as well as process owners to ensure efficient, transparent processes; management of escalations and sustainable assurance of high service quality.
- Process optimization & projects: Participation in strategic initiatives, transitions, and implementations; continuous efficiency improvement, standardization, and expansion of knowledge databases, as well as further development of HR processes and systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, ServiceNow, Jira, Alfresco, Escriba).
- Compliance, data quality & reporting: Ensuring data quality, audit and GDPR compliance; creation and analysis of key figures as well as monthly and annual reports for controlling costs, efficiency and performance.
Your profile:
- Education: Degree in human resources or business administration; alternatively, relevant apprenticeship with additional HR qualifications and relevant professional experience.
- Personality: Strong communicator and leader with a service and customer orientation, hands-on mentality, and the ability to motivate and unite teams across locations; structured, reliable, and results-oriented approach to work, even under time pressure. Willingness to commute between the Düsseldorf and Wetter locations.
- Experience: Several years of practical experience in HR shared services, particularly along the employee lifecycle, as well as in leading teams, including in hybrid or multi-location structures; experience in project work, process development, and change/transition management.
- Expertise: Very good knowledge of labor law and understanding of operational HR processes (hire-to-retire); Experience with collective bargaining agreements in the metal and electrical industry and continuous process optimization according to LEAN principles. Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
- IT skills: Confident use of HR systems and tools such as SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, ServiceNow, Jira, Alfresco, or Escriba, as well as very good MS Excel skills; high IT affinity.
