Job Description

The Specialist – PLM & Alfresco AMS will be responsible for providing application support, incident and problem resolution, workflow management, and continuous improvement for Teamcenter PLM and CAD systems. This role ensures stable operations, SLA adherence, and seamless coordination with business, platform, and development teams, with a strong focus on production support and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Application Support & Operations

  • Act as the primary point of contact for business users for PLM-related operational issues
  • Provide L2/L3 support for Teamcenter PLM in production and non-production environments
  • Handle incidents, service requests, and problem tickets within defined SLA/TAT
  • Communicate clearly regarding incident status, risks, and resolution timelines

Workflow & Process Management

  • Support and troubleshoot ECN, MCN, Release, and Change workflows
  • Validate ECN report generation (PDF/Word) and ensure data consistency
  • Assist users in correct process adoption and workflow execution
  • Identify process gaps and propose continuous improvement initiatives

Problem Management & RCA

  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues
  • Implement or support permanent fixes through problem management processes
  • Track and report ticket trends, aging, and recurring issues

Integration & Technical Support

  • Support integration of Teamcenter with CAD tools and enterprise systems
  • Troubleshoot:
    • Data transfer and status stamping
    • Workflow-related integration issues
    • Dataset validation and dispatcher processes
  • Monitor and resolve PDF generation and system performance issues
  • Analyze and improve NX performance bottlenecks

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work effectively with globally distributed teams
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 14001 & 45001 standards awareness

The role is based in our office in SP Infocity, Pune – but it goes without saying that the remote & hybrid working is a part of our modern ways of working.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, IT, or related field
  • 6–8 years of experience in PLM application support

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Teamcenter PLM
  • Proven experience in L2/L3 production support
  • Experience with:
    • NX and AutoCAD (Mandatory)
    • PLM workflows (ECN, MCN, Change Management)
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Incident & problem management process
    • Root cause analysis techniques
    • SLA-driven support environments

Good to Have

  • Experience with SolidWorks or Inventor
  • Exposure to system integrations and data workflows
  • Knowledge of Alfresco AMS

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in cross-functional and global teams
  • Proactive and customer-focused mindset

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, IT, or related field
