Job Description
We are currently seeking candidate for a Senior Consultant position in the SAP Basis within our organization. This role offers the opportunity enhance your expertise in SAP Basis administration and gain practical exposure to advance technologies with opportunities to architect and operate solutions on BTP, AZURE, AWS platforms.
Your key responsibilities:
- Managing the S/4HANA SAP RISE Landscape in cooperation with SAP Enterprise cloud services.
- Daily monitoring of all S/4HANA SAP systems (e.g. work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, profile parameter maintenance etc.)
- Analyzing system Performance and adjusting various tuning parameters to maintain optimum utilization including application server load balancing, operation modes, background jobs management
- Managing & Performing System refreshes
- Configure and manage the SAP printing subsystem for all SAP instances
- SAP Solution Manager Change Request Management functionality (ChaRM) from basis point of view and cCTS. Cloud TMS used for BTP Fiori UI transports by developers and understanding of it seen as advantage.
- Analysis of SAP Service Session reports (incl. EarlyWatch Alert) for systems operated in the cloud. Provide recommendations for changes related to SAP application (outside technical operations scope of standard service).
- Proactive housekeeping of systems in SAP RISE Landscape
- Archiving SAP S/4HANA data with SAP standard tools. Knowledge of 3rd party tools giving better visibility to archived data seen as advantage.
- Furthermore, adherence to operational procedures compliant with audit requirements is imperative.
- Managing SAP Security and adherence to best practices related to risk assessment, security policies & Regular audits.
- Understanding of SAP BTP connection to on-premise (private cloud) SAP systems.
- Deeper knowledge of SAP BTP Administration seen as advantage.
- Exposure in automating the processes in SAP Basis area seen as advantage.
- Exposure to SAP Cloud ALM seen as advantage.
- Awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards
Qualifications
What should you bring?
6-10 years of experience in IT industry working in global support or business process monitoring environment.
IT skills:
- Certified SAP BASIS Administrator
- Experience in Administration of S/4HANA systems.
- Experience in S/4HANA database administration tasks.
- Experience with AWS or AZURE Cloud setup
- Experience in Managing BTP Admin & system integration tasks
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Good Knowledge of Linux administration tasks
- Agile / Scrum knowledge seen as advantage
General Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential, demonstrating both the capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within team dynamics as required.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities are crucial.
- Should be flexible to take up any challenge offered based on business need.
- Nice to have experience in interacting with the global team set-up.
- Team player
- English Communication skills – Verbal, Written
- Willing to work in shifts when necessary
