How we do it?
We follow an inclusion index, which positions us among the top companies in the area. Our people processes and policies support inclusive recruitment practises. In addition, we raise awareness through our own tailored trainings and internal discussions. In these, we have placed special focus on unconscious bias that creates barriers for women and underrepresented groups. It’s part of our commitment to conduct responsible business, where people can have fair opportunities and enter a workplace where equity is the norm.

Promoting inclusion
We are promoting inclusion for all people – no matter gender identity, sexual orientation and disabilities. Through training sessions, open forums, and collaboration activities, we drive initiatives to improve mental health, raise awareness of hidden diversity (e.g. disabilities, gender identity), and create a more inclusive workplace for all.
Promoting STEM careers
We actively encourage people to pursue careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) by offering networking opportunities, mentoring, and internships, various entry level opportunities, aiming to be an attractive workplace for people in STEM.
Advancing gender balance in Leadership positions
Gender balance in leadership enhances decision quality, innovation, customer alignment, and employer attractiveness. At Konecranes, this is not a program but a systematic, business driven approach. It is a strategic advantage for sustainable performance. Bringing inclusivity into STEM fields
