POSITION TITLE: Quality Inspector
LOCATION: Springfield, Ohio
BASIC DESCRIPTION: The Quality Inspector will visually inspect electric chain hoists, wire rope hoists and power supplies.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Visually inspect electric chain hoists, wire rope hoists and power supplies to ensure that they meet outlined specifications and quality standards that have been set forth.
- Record and publish results of Factory Acceptance Test performed as well as feedback from production line.
- Work with Production and Quality Engineer to ensure product quality.
- Provide input for inspection methods and improvements related to the job.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to effectively manage time, resolve problems, and make sound decisions.
- Ability to address multiple issues at the same time and work well under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to read drawings and understand technical guides.
- Well-developed computer skills; proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; SAP experience preferred.
- Ability to work well in a team oriented environment.
