Job Description

Location: any Konecranes site in Europe. The team members are based in Finland and Germany, and candidates from these countries are prioritised. This role can be fully remote. 

Port Solutions is one of Konecranes’ main business areas, and it designs, manufactures, sells, delivers and services a wide variety of container handling cranes, shipyard cranes and lift trucks. A critical part of Port Solutions is Port Services, whose technical support team provides global support to internal frontline units and customers for complex retrofits and modernizations requiring technical expertise. Our range of port services starts with equipment maintenance and increases alongside any terminal's evolution, where we are continuously expanding the boundaries of our customer's operational efficiency. 

Global Parts Business Line is responsible for all port parts operations, data management, parts supply chain, logistics, eCommerce, parts pricing, and order management globally. The unit is also responsible for port parts related product management and development as well as customer experience and support. 

As a Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing spare‑part pricing for Port Parts. This role ensures accurate, competitive, and strategically aligned pricing by combining strong analytical skills, commercial understanding, and cross‑functional collaboration. Working closely with Product Management, Customer Support, Sales, Procurement and Operational Excellence, the specialist supports pricing strategy, drives improvements, and ensures data integrity across systems. 

Key responsibilities: 

(1) Spare Part Pricing & Data Management 

  • Calculate, maintain, and update sales prices for spare parts 
  • Validate price plausibility.  
  • Upload and maintain pricing information in SAP and internal systems. 
  • Determine appropriate pricing for new, updated, or discontinued parts.
  • Partner with Product Management and Purchasing to analyse cost structures for price‑ or margin‑critical items.  

(2) Pricing Strategy Development 

  • Contribute to pricing strategies.  
  • Prepare analyses and recommendations for market price positioning.  
  • Collaborate with respective stakeholders to align on pricing strategies and resolve pricing questions.  

(3) Price Management 

  • Support the price revision process by identifying adjustment needs.  
  • Develop proposals for price changes and present recommendations to relevant stakeholders.  

(4) Reporting, Analysis & Continues Improvement 

  • Create and present pricing analyses for Sales, Product Management, and senior leadership.  
  • Support the development and enhancement of pricing automation tools, rules, and system functionalities. 
  • Collaborate with IT and Data Engineering on pricing data quality improvements and master‑data governance. 

Qualifications

  • Previous industry experience in pricing, product management, or related analytical roles is seen as an advantage 
  • Familiarity with spare‑part markets, pricing logic, and data interpretation. 
  • Experience working with SAP, pricing softwares, and data analysis tools - seen as beneficial

Skills & Competencies: 

  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset.  
  • Ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.  
  • High attention to detail and ownership of data accuracy.  
  • Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration across functions and geographies.
