Position Title: Commissioning and Warranty Coordinator Reports
To: Manager Office Operations Development
Konecranes is seeking an individual with exceptional technical skills to join our team as a Commissioning and Warranty Coordinator. In this role, you will be overseeing service delivery in your assigned area. You will be responsible for creating internal commissioning and warranty service requests, monitoring commissioning and warranty service request ensuring service requests are closed timely and within company guidelines. Job Principal Responsibilities:
· Review new commissioning projects. Manually create SP24 service requests and assets.
· Attend commissioning project kick off calls for technical review and project scope.
· Work with local Schedule Coordinator to schedule SP24.
· Create, manage and invoice warranty events during commissioning.
· Review SAT, service reports and load test certificates for accuracy and completeness. Submit documents to Project Manager or Warranty team in the time frame specified by internal Rules of Engagement.
· Review new FQI notifications, manually create SP09 service requests. Proactively monitor the delivery of materials, and update internal stakeholders as needed.
· Create work packages for FQI warranty events, crane installation, load test and TRUCONNECT.
· Create DRAFT purchase order requests in Siebel for equipment, test weights, materials and sub-contractors.
· Track inspection progress for defective materials returned to the factory for inspection for warranty items found during commissioning.
· Review job costs such as labor, expense and materials/rental equipment. Request purchase orders or purchase order increases from internal BU.
· Review invoicing details of completed work before moving forward with the invoicing process.
· Digitally maintain records and data regarding commissioning and warranty services.
· Submit TRUCONNECT activation documents.
· Follow and assist in the enforcement of all safety rules and procedures including those established by the customer.
· Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree preferred, prior equivalent experience and training will be considered.
EXPERIENCE: Must be customer-oriented, have well-developed interpersonal, communication, organizational and PC skills and be able to prioritize tasks. Comfortable in an industrial environment and willing to take on new and challenging tasks. Willingness to work overtime or additional hours as needed.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Occasional travel required, possibly overnight. Must have a take charge attitude, be decisive and possess a high level of responsibility. Must be comfortable in a fast pace, growth-oriented environment.
