Trainee, Procurement Project

Location: any major city of Konecranes within Finland.
Hours: 15 - 37,5 h/week, fixed-term contract for six months. Possibility for continuation or writing your thesis work will be discussed along the traineeship.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated trainee procurement project who will project support and manage selected areas in procurement and work with procurement teams and other stakeholders to identify and implement the mitigation actions.

This is a great opportunity to learn and build project management competence as well as working with procurement teams to develop leadership capabilities for an energetic and ambitious individual in a global business environment.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate cross-functional discussion to find solutions (e.g. between engineering, sourcing, operations, business teams, external suppliers etc.) and resolve critical issues by engaging subject matter experts
• Summarize product-specific component risk evaluation and prepare a high-level accurate status report to the senior management with precise description of issues at hand and sensitivity
• Summarize key actions agreed latest status for the project review meeting
• Conduct weekly deep dives (including investigation & facilitation of top priority topics during each week & visualizing key findings in core team material
• Communicate regular status updates to key stakeholders and manage expectations on the scope, deliverables, timelines and resources
