Come join our Digital Experience Platform team as a hands-on Technical Lead in one of the Digital Solutions development teams. 

The Digital Experience Platform is part of the larger Digital Center of Excellence (Digital CoE) unit, responsible for the development and delivery of Konecranes Industrial Internet Platform, Data science solutions and Digital solutions that serve both our customers and business processes.

Konecranes Industrial Internet connects, gathers, analyses, and presents data from Konecranes-built equipment and from the global field service IT system. Our Digital solutions include a multitude of web and mobile applications all built on the latest software engineering solutions and address the key needs of our customers and businesses.


Job Description

In this role, you will be taking the lead on the technical aspects of projects, guiding and working alongside a team of software engineers. This role requires extensive experience in software engineering, programming languages, development methodologies, and frameworks, technical solution architecture, MVP development, scaling-up, testing, security, and operations.

Your key responsibilities

  • Design, architect & document the technical solutions that meet the functional and non-functional requirements, adhering to good software engineering principles and organizational architecture policies.
  • Develop technical specifications, breakdowns, and plans.
  • Full stack development of digital services using modern programming languages and cloud platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to the team. Enforce clean-code principles and secure API design. Ensure high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and habits.
  • Collaborate with other software developers, architects, product owners and business stakeholder to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain business applications. Participate in peer reviews of solution designs and related code.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

 What you should bring:

  • Experience in web and/or mobile development in cloud environments and with native cloud services (AWS).
  • Experience in full-stack cloud-native (AWS, Serverless) web application development.
  • Experience in DevSecOps processes and development environments.
  • Experience with some of the Full-stack technologies and interfaces we have in our stack: Node.js, Java, Angular, Typescript, React, REST, GraphQL.
  • Experience in incorporating GenAI to existing web applications and/or experience in Vibe coding i.e. proactively exploring new AI tools and actively utilizing mature AI tools and technologies in the SDLC.
  • Good understanding of the testing practices: TDD, BDD, Data-driven testing.
  • Suitable education - bachelor, or master’s degree level preferably in computer science.
  • Agile mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills while using good judgment.
  • Capability to lead, inspire, coach, and motivate others.
  • Strong customer-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to learn.

We consider the following as an advantage

  • Relevant cloud certifications.
  • Experience working in multi-cultural/international environment.
  • Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google).
