We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Engineer to join our team in Ashdod, Israel. As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing various industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including electric overhead traveling cranes
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns efficiently and effectively
- Consult with customers on repair and safety-related issues, providing expert advice and solutions
- Complete accurate and detailed documentation of all service activities using mobile devices
- Conduct regular inspections and safety checks on equipment
- Collaborate with team members to improve service quality and efficiency
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and safety standards
- Respond to emergency service calls as needed, including potential after-hours work
- Apprentice-trained or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering or related field
- Proven experience in industrial equipment maintenance, repair, and servicing
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering disciplines and mechanical systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in using mobile devices for documentation and reporting
- Outstanding customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Ability to work at heights and in various industrial environments
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites
- Strong commitment to health and safety practices
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Flexibility to work extra hours and participate in on-call rotations as needed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with overhead cranes and hoists is a plus
