As a Sales Specialist, you will drive Overhead Crane sales and achieve targets for Konecranes and Demag industrial equipment by managing existing accounts and generating new business within a defined territory. Based in Sunshine West and reporting to the Pacific Sales Manager - Equipment
The Role:
- Meet/exceed sales and market share goals.
- Manage sales cycle from lead generation to contract finalization.
- Accurately prepare quotes, tenders, and handover documentation.
- Maintain records in CRM and use configuration/sales tools.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales funnel.
- Build and maintain client relationships with regular visits.
- Collaborate with internal teams (service sales, engineering, project management).
- Ensure WHS compliance and promote safe, sustainable practices.
- Participate in training and promote brand values.
- Minimum 2 years in solution/technical sales or business development.
- Proven experience in a new business sales capacity, preferably in an industrial environment.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel as needed (Regional Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania).
- Knowledge of equipment and Australian Standards advantageous.
- Attractive Base Salary + Commission
- Fully maintained Company Motor Vehicle
- 17.5% Annual Leave Loading
