Job Position: Mechanical Team Lead
Lead the Mechanical Department in assigned projects, report schedule progress and conflicts.
1. Delegate Work Effectively based scheduled Mechanical assembly work.
2. Ensure Budgeted hours are being met for every project.
3. Constantly check workmanship of all direct reports.
4. Meet completion deadlines based on Production Schedule.
5. Complete any applicable quality control documentation.
6. Sustain high level of productivity.
7. Assign and re-assign tasks as necessary to direct reports.
8. Constant attention to detail.
9. Safety Oriented
10. Ensure 100% completion of Mechanical Assembly and Dis Assembly
11. Ensure precise alingments of heavy dury industiral motors/gearboxes and hoist drums.
Prerequisite Education & Experience:
1. Education: High School, Trade School, or higher. (or equivalent experience.)
2. Language: English language fluency in reading, writing and speaking.
3. Good working knowledge of reading Engineering Drawings.
4. Prior experience leading groups of manufacturing personnel.
5. Ability to layout/ install machinery on Overhead Cranes based on Engineered Desings.
Physical Demands:
This position is Houston based and the work requirements require constant standing other misc assembly work. Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
Work Environment: Industrial Work Environment.
