Due to the dynamic development, we are looking for a candidate for the position:
HSE SPECIALIST
Place of work: Warsaw or Katowice
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a safety professional role and working to OHSAS18001 Occ. H&S management system practices
- Proficient in English and Polish is a must
- Strong and passionate voice for safety
- Knowledge of applicable laws
- Ability to plan, organize and provide internal training;
- Ability to self-initiate actions, decision making, overcoming problems;
- Aesthetic sense, attention to detail, initiative and proactiveness in activities
- "Can do" attitude and ability to build good relationships with suppliers, clients and colleagues
- Open to business travelling (50/50)
Scope of responsibilities:
Key Accountabilities:
- Maintenance of the Management Systems (OHSAS18001/ ISO45001 and ISO 14001)
- Local legislative and corporate compliance
- Monthly reporting
- Safety competence development
- Management of the health and safety system ISO
Country Level Responsibilities:
- HSE reporting on the performance of the Management System and continuous improvement objectives;
- Review of local legislation and ensuring compliance
- Managing the Internal and external HSE Audit Programs, conducting Health & Safety inspections, audits and surveys / assessments
- Supporting and managing incident and near miss investigations and reporting, providing feedback, lessons learned and best practices to management and all employees
- Implementing Corporate Minimum HSE Requirements, Roadmaps, and other corporate HSE policies and initiatives
- Manage local HSE policies, standards and procedures
- Provision and supporting of employee HSE training
- Visiting customers and suppliers as required to confer on specific HSE issues
- Contributing to and/or planning and executing safety related projects (also international)
- Initiating and developing various forms of popularization of safety issues
Qualified to or working towards local Diploma level on Occupational Health and Safety Management as a safety professional.
