In 2012, Konecranes established European Financial Shared Service Center in Tallinn, Estonia. The center offers transaction handling services, financial master data maintenance and financial accounting services to Konecranes Groups companies. Finance Center of Excellence was established in 2022 and the team is responsible for providing consultation and support to colleagues from Finance function regarding harmonised finance processes.
Our Finance Center of Excellence team is looking for a Finance Specialist to join them.
Are you a pro-active and self-driven person who enjoys working both independently and in teams? Would you get your kicks out of being a part of a team which would aim at giving the Konecranes end users excellent support, and simultaneously constantly improving the way of working? If you in addition have experience from accounting, finance processes and SAP FI – this might be your time to shine!
Finance Specialist main tasks are to provide high level end-user support, actively contribute to building our Finance Center of Excellence as well as to further developing our processes and tools in close co-operation with the Finance Transformation team.
Your main job tasks will be:
- Supporting the new Travel Expense Tool project and end-users with queries regarding travel tool and processes.
- Handling central administrative tasks for defined processes (e.g. user access).
- Providing training, creating and updating end-user instructions.
- Investigating issues, when needed also escalating and involving other departments (e.g. IT, Treasury) as per defined processes.
- Testing solution proposals and documenting successful solutions.
- Participating in new country/company implementations.
- Participating in further development of the process and tools, together with the Finance Transformation team.
- Substituting other team members in case of absence.
- Other work-related duties may be assigned by management.
What should you bring?
- Academic degree in economics or other relevant major.
- Previous experience in accounting as well as familiarity with travel/expense accounting.
- Good understanding and experience in working with some ERP software (SAP, Navision, Axapta etc).
- Skills in Emburse ChromeRiver, Aico, SAP CLM, and/or TIS are considered beneficial.
- Accurate; detail- and deadline-oriented.
- Flexible and able to multitask.
- Self-driven and autonomous work attitude.
- Ability for problem solving in systematic approach.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English language.
