Silvia Kuo | Service Technician

How has your journey been so far?

‘’I studied Automation Engineering and have been passionate about a career that revolves around a robust technical foundation. I thrive when I'm hands-on, on the frontline of tasks, rather than being deskbound. My journey took me to Vietnam for about a year and then China for two years. I also learned to speak Vietnamese fluently during my time there.’’

How do you feel being female in this position?

‘’Gender shouldn't be the basis for judging one's strength, whether physical or mental. While performing tasks, an innovative approach and problem-solving can often be more important than physical strength alone. Both genders use tools to lift heavy equipment. Women often bring precision, meticulousness, and innovation to the table, which enhances workplace efficiency.’’
