What's your day-to-day like?  

‘’My day typically involves collecting various components from our production site, often maneuvering a forklift to transport these items. Once gathered, I focus on the detailed work of assembling mechanical components for trolleys, a process that blends items manufactured in-house with those sourced from our trusted subcontractors.’’ 

What motivated you to join Konecranes?  

‘’I was made aware of an opportunity at Konecranes' Hyvinkää factory by a friend in May 2023. Having relevant experience, I reached out to the hiring manager, leading to a swift interview process. Within less than three weeks, I found myself embarking on a new career path here.’’ 

What do you appreciate about your colleagues? 

‘’We've fostered a stress-free environment where the anticipation for Monday mornings speaks volumes about the positive workplace culture we enjoy.’’ 

What challenges have you faced as a female Mechanic?  

‘’While handling heavy items presents a physical challenge, Konecranes provides an array of tools designed to alleviate such burdens. 

What advice will you give to aspiring female Mechanics?

‘’I encourage anyone interested in this field to look beyond any stereotypes and apply. My experience here has been incredibly rewarding, offering a wealth of learning opportunities and a sense of fulfillment in my role.’’
