Trainee, SAP Automation Testing

Konecranes Information Technology organization secures sustainable growth and operational excellence through IT Innovation and data insights. The service portfolio is wide; from IT services provided to enable Konecranes business processes, through Helpdesk, all the way to the business intelligence and analytics identifying new business opportunities.

We are currently seeking candidate for a Trainee position in the SAP Test Automation within our organization. This role offers the opportunity to expand your knowledge of the Overall SAP Test Automation and familiarize yourself with the business processes utilized at Konecranes. Additionally, you will have the chance to work on Business, SAP and different Test Management processes.

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated test cases using Worksoft Certify/CAP, record the test results
• Primarily work with development teams and test/automate the features developed
• Analyse test results, and identify, document, and report root causes for test failures by working with the development team and the defect tracking system (JIRA)
• Maintaining and updating test documentation
• It is advantageous to proactively pursue learning opportunities in SAP alongside developing Test Automation skills.
• Exhibit Konecranes Core values and code of conduct into each action
• Furthermore, adherence to operational procedures compliant with audit requirements is imperative.

What should you bring?

0-1 years of experience in IT industry working in global support or business process monitoring environment.

IT skills: 

• Experience in manual testing.
• Must have Knowledge about Worksoft Certify Test Automation tool and SAP ERP System
• Expertise in Test preparation, understanding business requirements, reporting bugs
• Basic exposure to web automation
• Good to have experience in CI/CD Jenkins or Bamboo etc.
• Good to have Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Javascript, HTML 5
• Good to have Knowledge of PLSQL, MSSQL Database
• Should be comfortable using basic MS-Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)

General Skills:

• Strong interpersonal skills are essential, demonstrating both the capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within team dynamics as required.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities are crucial.
• Should be flexible to take up any challenge offered based on business need.
• Nice to have experience in interacting with the global team set-up.
• Team player
• English Communication skills – Verbal, Written
• Willing to work in shifts when necessary
