System Development Engineer

We are looking for System Development Engineer.

Konecranes Product Configurator team develops Sales Solutions for the frontline organizations in close co-operation with Product Management teams. As a System Development Specialist, you will be responsible for creating functional specifications to new requests, updates to programming and coordinating development. You will be responsible for handling development requests to successful implementations with high quality.

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop application. 
• Test new functionalities 
• Fixing bugs
• Participate designing how new features are built.
• Key user support

What should you bring?     
We expect the candidate to have a degree in mechanical engineering, software or equivalent. It is also expected to have at least 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering and/or software development. 
Following skills/competencies are required in the position: 

• Programming skills, .Net environment and preferably also Visual Basic
• Fluent in English communication (verbal and written)
• Good co-operations skills 
• Service attitude 
• Tolerance for stress 
• Conceptual thinking and prioritizing ability
• Test automation experience is seen as advantage
• Some understanding of business processes, practices, and procedures
• A good communicator with a teamwork spirit
• Systematic, solutions-oriented, and proactive
• knowledge in JIRA tracker/SNOW or comparable tracking software and experience with product configurators or configurable products is seen as an advantage.
• Familiarity with Konecranes Sales Configurator Tools. (If internal recruitment)
• Knowledge of any Koncreanes Products: LLE, RHCranes and Winch Cranes
• Have past experience in any of the following KC  offer, order or platform engineering \KC process and tools is an advantage
• Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards
