We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Mechanical Engineer to join our Gear Platform team in Hyvinkää. As a summer trainee you will be working with mechanical engineering related topics. Your daily responsibilities include for example 3D CAD modelling and dimensioning of components and item management in the PLM system. You will work closely with your team members who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooperation skills and network with the best talents of your industry. The position is based Hyvinkää with the possibility for partial remote work.

What kind of talent are we looking for?

This role is ideal for a mechanical engineering student who is eager to learn more about machine design, materials and solid mechanics related tasks. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your good teamwork skills, hard-working attitude, and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.

Requirements:

• University or University of Applied Sciences studies in mechanical engineering (preferably 2nd-4th year studies)
• Understanding of 3D CAD software from your studies or working life
• Knowledge in traditional IT-programs e.g. Microsoft Office, Email, etc.
• Earlier work experience in similar tasks is seen as a beneficial
