We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic Business Intelligence and Data Management team. The team specializes in developing analytics solutions and data products. In this role, your main responsibilities will focus on building analytics solutions. Your tasks will include, among other things, developing reports and dashboards as well as building data pipelines and data products. In addition, you will work closely with other team members who will help you get started with day-to-day tasks. This is a great opportunity to develop your teamwork skills and network with industry professionals. The position is based in Espoo or Hyvinkää, with the possibility for partial remote work.

What kind of talent are we looking for?

The position is an excellent fit for a student in a technical or business field (e.g., Information and Knowledge Management, Industrial Engineering and Management, Business Studies) who is motivated to learn more about developing analytics solutions. You are welcome at Konecranes as yourself, but we especially appreciate good teamwork skills, a brisk attitude and enthusiasm for learning. Our work community is highly international, so it is important to have fluent knowledge of English in the position.

Requirements:

• A relevant education background, such as Information and Knowledge Management, Industrial Engineering and Management, or Business Studies, and at least master’s level studies.
• Understanding of report development using modern Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI), as well as skills in data‑processing programming languages (SQL, Python) and tools (e.g., Databricks), gained through studies or work experience.
• Proficiency in traditional office tools and systems (e.g., MS Office, email).
• Previous experience in the industrial sector or similar roles is considered an advantage.
