Job Description

Are you studying in business, engineering or science and ready to hit your professional career with Konecranes Summer Trainee team of 2025? Do you want to gain valuable experience from corporate Technologies in an international work environment? We might have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are looking for an innovative and creative Digital Portfolio Support to join our Digital Portfolio Management team in Espoo. As a Digital Portfolio Support you will be working with diverse technology related tasks, enabling innovation, development, and management of critical IT and digital solutions.

Your daily responsibilities include for example developing world class agile project management practises, supporting with training, reporting and financial management related tasks as well as supporting with

  • Documentation and reporting support: Collecting aggregate data and metrics, analysing results, and producing regular Excel/Power BI-based reporting for the team and various stakeholders.
  • Producing training and guideline materials: You prepare and update internal guidelines, training materials and process descriptions to support agile methods and project management.
  • Assisting tasks in cost management: help with budgeting, cost accounting and monitoring projects, collect and analyse information to support data driven decision-making.
  • Operational support for the team: ensures the smooth operation of the necessary systems and tools (e.g. WEB Jira, Confluence, SharePoint) and help the team with various administrative tasks.
  • Participation in process development: you provide new ideas and solution suggestions to improve existing agile operating models and tools and evaluate their effectiveness.

This summer internship entails 4-5 months of full-time work with a preferred starting date in April or May. The job is located in Espoo, Keilaniemi with the possibility to work partly remotely. Please notice that our headquarters is located in Hyvinkää, and role might require visiting Hyvinkää office once a while (agreed separately). You will work closely with your team and key stakeholders who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities. Qualifications

What kind of talent are we looking for?

This role is ideal for a self-driven, creative and energetic individual who is eager to learn more about technology portfolio management. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your good teamwork skills, hard-working attitude, and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.

What should you bring?

  • Academic background in business, engineering or computer science, preferably min 2nd year studies
  • Understanding of the requirements and maintenance of data management and databases from your studies or working life
  • You know Excel and PowerPoint well next to other traditional office tools, Power BI-, SharePoint-, Power Automate- or Confluence / Jira skills would be an asset
  • Earlier work experience in digital, IT and project management or similar tasks is seen as a beneficial
