Are you studying Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration with a focus on trade compliance? Ready to kickstart your career with Konecranes' Summer Trainee team in 2025?
We have an exciting opportunity for you!
We are seeking a Compliance Summer Trainee to join our Global Parts Customer Service team. You will handle project work and daily tasks, including determining commodity codes, dual-use and dangerous goods classifications, and assisting with trade compliance inquiries such as customs code determinations, trade sanctions screenings, and product certificate queries. You'll work closely with your team members, gaining valuable experience and networking with industry talents. The job is based in Hyvinkää or Espoo with remote work options.

Qualifications
We are looking for a student, ideally from Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration, who excels in teamwork, demonstrates a strong work ethic, and shows enthusiasm for self-development. Proficiency in English and the confidence to work in an international environment are essential.
What should you bring?
- Academic background preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration with trade compliance related studies (student of 2nd or 3rd year)
- Understanding of regulations and directives
- Familiarity with terms like Customs Codes, Export Control, Dangerous Goods, and REACH
- Proficiency in traditional IT programs (e.g., SAP and Microsoft Office)
- Previous work experience in similar tasks is beneficial
