Job Purpose
Leads and manages sales activities, sales development and establishing loyalty among customers in own
business area to achieve designated sales targets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leads and manages performance effectively. Leads, directs, evaluates and develops subordinate managers
- or purchasing staff, when applicable.
- Creates and implements segment / category / regional strategies in close co-operation with internal
- network
- Contributes to the development of the organization's overall supply and logistics strategy; and establishes
- purchasing budgets, plans, policies, systems, and procedures that will achieve these strategic objectives.
- Identifies, evaluates, and capitalizes on opportunities to reduce procurement costs by improving the
- organization's purchasing patterns and supply channels.
- Evaluates, negotiates, and manages complex and/or strategically important supplier and vendor
- relationships to secure terms and conditions in Konecranes' best interest.
- Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards
Functional Responsibilities:
- Is responsible for all aspects of safety and for generating the sales required to meet the budget.
- Collaborates for cross-functional operations according to sales and marketing strategies.
- Any other duties as directed by Superior.
Business impact and complexity:
Leads a small team of sales personnel in a product / service area of standard complexity. Makes operational
decisions with impact on results.
Development and Innovation:
Develops and improves current ways of working.

5+ years
