We are currently seeking a Sales Specialist – Equipment to join our dedicated team based in Smithfield, NSW.
As a Sales Specialist – Equipment, you’ll be responsible for driving new equipment sales across our full range of lifting products, including overhead cranes, gantries, and custom-engineered solutions. You’ll manage both existing customer accounts and pursue new business opportunities within your territory to help us meet our sales and order targets.
This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional with a strong interest in technical solutions and capital equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve sales targets across new equipment offerings including overhead cranes and lifting solutions
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers while actively pursuing new business opportunities
Respond to customer enquiries, prepare quotations and tenders, and manage the full sales cycle
Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate monthly forecasts
Collaborate with the Service Sales team to identify cross-selling opportunities
Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and documentation in the CRM system
Ensure accurate handover of project information to internal stakeholders (Project Engineers, Service, etc.)
Actively participate in coaching calls, sales meetings, and development activities
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all customer interactions
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in solution sales or business development (capital equipment preferred)
Strong understanding of technical sales processes – lifting or industrial equipment knowledge is ideal
Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
Valid driver’s licence (essential)
Highly motivated, target-driven, and able to manage your own territory
Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
Knowledge of Australian Standards related to overhead cranes is an advantage
