We are currently seeking a Sales Specialist – Equipment to join our dedicated team based in Smithfield, NSW.

 


Job Description

As a Sales Specialist – Equipment, you’ll be responsible for driving new equipment sales across our full range of lifting products, including overhead cranes, gantries, and custom-engineered solutions. You’ll manage both existing customer accounts and pursue new business opportunities within your territory to help us meet our sales and order targets.

This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional with a strong interest in technical solutions and capital equipment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets across new equipment offerings including overhead cranes and lifting solutions

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers while actively pursuing new business opportunities

  • Respond to customer enquiries, prepare quotations and tenders, and manage the full sales cycle

  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate monthly forecasts

  • Collaborate with the Service Sales team to identify cross-selling opportunities

  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and documentation in the CRM system

  • Ensure accurate handover of project information to internal stakeholders (Project Engineers, Service, etc.)

  • Actively participate in coaching calls, sales meetings, and development activities

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all customer interactions

 


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in solution sales or business development (capital equipment preferred)
  • Strong understanding of technical sales processes – lifting or industrial equipment knowledge is ideal

  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite

  • Valid driver’s licence (essential)

  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and able to manage your own territory

  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills

  • Knowledge of Australian Standards related to overhead cranes is an advantage
