Job Description

We are looking for R&D Sustainability Engineer, to join our Technology Sustainability  team within R&D Department. You will work together with your colleagues, other corporate resources and business stakeholders to support to develop sustainable products and to create the needed sustainability information – as Life Cycle Assessments and CO2 Calculations. Your involvement in R&D projects will be pivotal, where your expertise in Sustainability and Circularity will play a crucial role. Your responsibilities will include to actively participate in planning and advancing tools and methods for our product sustainability initiatives.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Analysing sustainability of current and future products and systems covering product life cycle;
  • Providing information from environmental perspective for product development, platforms and other internal stakeholders;
  • Customize contents to fit stakeholders’ needs and usage;
  • Development of product sustainability knowledge in quality and quantity;
  • Participating in research and development projects
  • Supporting DfE (Design for environment) implementation.

Qualifications

What should you bring?

  • University degree in related field (e.g. material /mechanical / environmental engineering);
  • Knowledge of LCA methodology, tools and related standards and experience of LCAs in practice;
  • Knowledge of product circularity;
  • Product knowledge and application understanding;
  • Self-driven working style and analytical thinking;
  • Excellent social skills and team working abilities;
  • English language skills;  written and oral, other languages will be an advantage;
  • Few years of work experience in the related field.
