Hämeenlinna Electrics Factory is a supply unit specialized in producing high quality electrical components for industrial cranes. It is also one of the key competence centers in the area of Konecranes electrics manufacturing by supporting and developing our global electrics supply.
We are now looking for a Production Engineer, Electrics to strengthen our Production Engineering team.
Production Engineer works in close collaboration with the production, materials management, electrical engineering and global order handling. Production Engineer is responsible for creating BOMs (Bill of Materials) in SAP based on electrical order design and converting orders for the production as planned orders. As we have been insourcing part of the electrical engineering work under the factory operations Production Engineer’s tasks will also include electrical order engineering.
Main responsibilities of the Production Engineer are:
- Quality assurance of electrical engineering output
- Creation of BOMs and converting orders for the production in SAP
- Handling of internal quality deviations related to Engineering
- Extending new materials in SAP for the production plant
- Electrical order engineering
What should you bring?
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
- You are a problem solver with a can do attitude. You have patience to focus on details, yet you are also capable to understand “the big picture”.
- Positive attitude and willingness to grow to the further challenges.
- Team working skills, flexibility, and ability to work under tight schedules are needed in this position.
- Good IT skills. Experience on SAP/ERP modules and PDM systems (Teamcenter) and E3 electrical engineering tool is a clear advantage.
- Experience in working with product hierarchies and engineering within electrical/mechanical industry is advantage.
- Good communication and language skills (Finnish & English, verbal and written)
