Job Description

As part of our People strategy, we are re-imagining how we are engaging, planning, attracting, and recruiting future talent to ensure business success and growth. As part of this journey we have established a Global Competence Center (CoE) for Talent Acquisition that drives strategies & development throughout the organisation in close collaboration with various People & Culture and business stakeholders. We are now looking for a new colleague to join our team.

Manager, Workforce Planning & Internal mobility is responsible for developing the workforce planning & internal mobility approach, concept, and process globally within Konecranes. This is a key role to ensure we are able to plan and forecast future talent needs across different businesses and competencies in the markets we operate in, while driving further internal mobility & career opportunities for our existing employees. Ultimately workforce planning supports the successful execution of business strategies. To enable this, you will be focusing on following key activities:

  • Develop and refine Strategic and Operational Workforce Planning concept in cooperation with the People & Culture business partners, Talent development & people analytics teams, Strategy and Finance teams, business stakeholders and other Group functions.
  • Develop and align common processes, tooling and templates enabling stakeholders to strategically plan & identify medium and long-term talent/competency needs, and ensure we have the right talent intervention plans to secure those capabilities
  • Drive gradual development and adoption of the Strategic workforce planning / Workforce planning approach (6 B’s: buy, build, borrow, bot, bond, balance) within Konecranes
  • Support and enable People & Culture Business partners in facilitating Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) in different Business Areas and Units
  • Refine and develop internal mobility practices to advance rotation within Konecranes
  • Create engaging initiatives & process to promote internal opportunities to our employees globally and locally, and build connection to wider career development / talent processes in collaboration with Talent Management team
  • As part of your role, you will also be responsible for Contingent Workforce process globally and drive adoption and process improvement together with procurement and other stakeholders
  • Work closely with our Talent Management team on refining skills concept especially in relation to Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Work with global People analytics team to provide internal and external talent insights and analytics that can be leveraged to make data driven decisions in the SWP process
  • Create & maintain process related documentation & guidance’s and facilitate training/communications withing the organisation

Qualifications

Your experience

  • You have a suitable degree and ideally +5 years of relevant HR experience in strategic workforce / human capital planning or HR business partnering/Talent development in an international / global level
  • You ideally have some previous experience in SWP concepts/processes, workbooks and workshop templates with high engagement from business and other stakeholders.
  • You have been involved in developing & facilitating internal rotation and mobility
  • You are able to connect business priorities to actionable initiatives and activities that create clear value to the organisation and the business, while driving adoption and support change management
  • You apply an analytical approach and can collaborate well with different stakeholders
  • You are tech savvy and proven capable to work on process/system development topics
  • You are passionate about your work, and you are having a strong customer-orientated & growth/development mindset in your ways of working and having a desire to always learn more
  • You are self-starter and have ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Fluent written and spoken English language skills are required, as working language is fully English.
