Job Description

We are looking for an Item Data Manager to join our Global Spare Part Product Management team. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening how we manage and leverage item master data across BU Port Services. You will work closely with business key users and management from various countries, corporate IT, other data specialists and global process owners.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Becoming the process owner of item data for the Business Unit Port Services
  • Setting up and implementing the item master data process “end-to-end”
  • Ensuring item data quality in the different Business Lines
  • Conducting Teamcenter and SAP item data analysis
  • Corrections, updates and harmonizations to master data on global role
  • Creation and development of data management systems for reporting and KPIs and process support to Business Lines
  • Creating work instructions and processes
  • Training business units on item data management and being main contact point for other stakeholders related to item data

Qualifications

What we expect from you

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in technology
  • 5 years experience in master data management
  • PLM and ERP data management knowledge, preferably in Teamcenter and SAP
  • Good MS Excel skills
  • Knowledge of spare part business or 1KC processes and tools is an advantage
  • Professional fluency in English. German and / or Finnish is an advantage
  • Analytical and logical mindset
  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility combined with self-direction skills
  • Strong solution-oriented and positive customer service mindset
  • Good collaboration and communication skills in a global environment across cultures
