As our colleague is promoted to a global role in our company, we are now looking for a new HR Manager to join Konecranes People & Culture team. In this role you will lead the HR functions with 250 employees located in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. You will have diverse HR responsibilities from day-to-day operations and local labor law topics to employee experience and strategic development projects.
On a daily level, you will independently lead our people operations in respective countries, working closely with Baltic’s HR Specialist and Business Unit leads, as you will be part of the Baltic Management Team. Your work is supported by your manager, Director, People & Culture, Finland & Baltics and you are also part of Finland & Baltics HR team. Your closest co-workers are managers in the Business Units and colleagues in our Shared Service Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations and duties of the Human Resources in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout HR, adhering to local labor laws and regulations.
- Advise and support the Heads of Departments (eg. Service business, Finance) in all aspects of managing their team to include but not limited to recruitment, training, performance management, employee engagement, employee development & talent planning.
- Managing outsourced payrolls in all countries and employee benefits.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to enhance the company's culture and employee experience.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Lead and oversee the execution of training and development programs.
- Ensuring compliance by participating in and conducting audits and risk assessments.
What should you bring:
- Previous working experience in demanding HR roles of at least five years, preferably in a global company
- Experience and knowledge handling payroll and legal topics
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- People-orientated, results-driven and solution orientated mindset
- Excellent leadership and conflict management skills
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Good active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in Estonian and English.
- Ability to work often in fast-paced work environment with strict deadlines.
- Positive attitude towards challenges and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Great attention-to-detail.
