Now we are looking for an HR Generalist to join our Scandinavian HR Team, responsible for providing HR and TA support for over 100 employees based in Norway and Denmark. The HR team consists of HR Manager, HR Generalist for ISE Sweden, HR Generalist for Lift Trucks Sweden, Payroll Sweden, Payroll & Admin for Norway and Payroll & Admin for Denmark.

Job Description

As an HR Generalist at Konecranes, you will play a key role in partnering with business leaders to drive both operational and strategic HR priorities. In this fast-paced environment, your ability to work flexibly, solve problems, and balance short- and long-term objectives will be essential. In this role, you will take ownership of HR key projects and activities aligned with the company’s annual Human Resources planning cycles. These include processes such as Performance Management, Salary Review, Engagement Surveys, Learning & Development, and Diversity & Inclusion initiatives aimed at driving cultural change. Additionally, you will manage the entire recruitment cycle – from sourcing and interviewing to assessing candidates and closing processes. Developing and enhancing recruitment and talent acquisition practices, while promoting Konecranes as an attractive employer, will be a core focus.

Diversity and Inclusion will be a priority, and you will work to actively engage managers in fostering a more inclusive culture. This position requires close collaboration with business leaders, your HR team colleagues, and the HR Shared Service team in Tallinn. By combining a strategic perspective with hands-on execution, you will help meet the long-term business needs of Konecranes while ensuring candidates and employees are respected, heard, and supported.


Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you need strong communication and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to navigate a role with multiple stakeholders such as managers, union representatives, and HR colleagues. You should enjoy driving development for organizations, teams, and yourself. You have a proactive mindset, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work independently while balancing operational and strategic tasks effectively.

We are looking for someone with at least five years of HR Generalist experience in a large organization, including full-life cycle recruiting. Knowledge of Norwegian and/or Danish labor law is required.

Fluency in and English is essential, Norwegian and/or Danish is a plus.

The job includes occasional travel within Scandinavia, both day trips and overnight stays.
