Port Services Business Unit provides maintenance services globally to port and terminal operators. Now, we are looking to strengthen the team with a Field Service Development Manager, a dedicated professional who will take a responsibility for developing the field service operations globally.
In this role as Field Service Development Manager, you will work in a customer focused organization supporting customers around the world. Your main job is to work with the service frontlines on the best practices and on how to improve maintenance planning and execution.
Your key responsibilities:
• Develop Port Services’ best practices and processes for maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution to improve efficiency and standardization across the business unit
• Establish and lead global field service expert network to develop and distribute best practices and standardize processes.
• Lead development of global tools and standardization for field service processes.
• Responsible for deployment of field service tools and running the key-user network.
• Develop and implement KPIs to measure field service performance and improvement of different frontline units
• Work with L&D and HR to build the best competence development paths for field maintenance roles
• Develop processes for frontline communication channels and work execution along with Global Service Delivery, Engineering, and Parts.
• Liaise with other Konecranes Port Solutions units to expand cooperation and coordination.
• Work with the other teams to develop consistent procedures to include handover from sales to operation and handover to engineering when resources are needed to projects.
• Participate in product development as they relate to feasibility from Frontline operations and standardization.
What you should bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in managing or developing industrial or process equipment field service, maintenance planning and execution.
- Excellent communication and change management skills and a proven ability to influence and collaborate across global organizations.
- Very good understanding of standardizing and developing maintenance operations, including planning, resource management, work order management, checklists, safety and material management.
- Experience with work planning and execution in different CMMS, EAM or field service systems.
- Hands-on approach to problems and development mindset.
