We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to contribute to global master data management and 3D product modeling within the Port Solution's, Product Data Mechanical team. This role emphasizes precise data creation, maintenance, and enrichment in Teamcenter PLM, along with design efforts aligned with international engineering standards. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with strong CAD skills and a deep understanding of master data workflows, ready to collaborate across global teams and drive quality at every stage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enrich global master data within the Teamcenter PLM system.
• Create and manage mechanical component data and 3D models using UGNX, SolidWorks, or Autodesk Inventor.
• Contribute to data migration projects and support custom tariff code classification.
• Apply international design standards such as DIN, EN, and ISO in daily engineering tasks.
• Work independently and collaboratively with globally distributed teams.
• Consistently meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to quality, punctuality, and efficiency.
• Support the implementation and compliance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001

The role is located at SP Infocity, Pune, with remote and hybrid working well integrated into our current practices.

To achieve these goals:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university.
• Experience: 2–5 years of engineering experience, preferably with a focus on material master data.
• PLM Expertise: Proficiency in Teamcenter PLM is preferred.
• Data Management: Strong understanding of Material Master Data processes.
• CAD Skills: Proficiency in at least two of the following tools: UG NX, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor.
• Technical Tools: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong sense of project ownership, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university.
