Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic team player with a strong passion for Embedded Test Automation. The ideal candidate should be eager to contribute his expertise in Python, Robot Framework, and relevant testing tools and frameworks. Experience in test automation design, scripting, debugging, and integration within embedded systems is essential. A proactive attitude towards global project collaboration, team coordination, lean thinking and continuous learning is highly valued. Join us to grow alongside a motivated and forward-thinking team.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and develop test strategy with our development teams in Embedded systems area.
  • Develop and improve our Test automation for Embedded systems.
  • Develop and execute automated test cases using Test automation setup.
  • Creating and managing test concepts, test plan, test automation setup and execution.
  • Create automated jobs to run inside Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exhibit Konecranes Core values and code of conduct into each action.
  • Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards

The role is based in our office in SP Infocity, Pune – but it goes without saying that the remote & hybrid working is a part of our modern ways of working.

What should you bring? 

  • Experience in automation test design using Python, shell, Batch and PowerShell scripting.
  • Experienced in Robot framework.
  • Experience with CI/CD solutions, e.g., Jenkins. In-depth knowledge is must,
  • Knowledge of SVN and GIT Bitbucket
  • Test Failure Analysis and Debugging skills.
  • Familiarised with various Testing methodologies like stress testing, Regression testing,
  • You have an agile mindset and experience in agile working style.
  • Good Analytic and problem-solving techniques with innovative ideas to bring process improvement.
  • Self-motivated, Team oriented, Target oriented
  • Positive attitude, capable to work independently.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • Self-motivated, Team oriented, Target oriented.
  • Positive attitude, good team player, but also capable to work individually.
  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility.
  • A good verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

Educational background:

  • Graduated with bachelor's degree or higher - B.Tech. /B.E., Electronics, Computer Science.
  • Post-graduation diploma in Embedded systems
  • Work Experience: 10 + years in Test Automation of Embedded systems.
