We are looking for an experienced Development Engineer, Automation to join our Manufacturing Technology Development team. By joining our team, you get a chance to work with skilled teams and individuals in our factories and development related support functions. You will be responsible for developing and implementing automation solutions in Konecranes factories, particularly in the field of intra-logistics automation (AGVs/AMRs).

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement automation solutions for production and logistics.
• Work on intra-logistics automation project(s) involving AGVs/AMRs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and automation solution suppliers to ensure project success.
• Support management of project timelines and deliverables.
• Document and report project progress and outcomes.

The main location for the role is in Hämeenlinna, but you are welcome to use Hyvinkää premises as well.

What should you bring?                   

• M.Sc. in automation, robotics or a similar field.
• 2-3 years of experience in production or logistics automation development projects.
• Experience with intra-logistics automation (AGVs/AMRs).
• Systematic and goal-oriented approach with a strong ability to meet deadlines.
• Working proficiency in Finnish and English.

We are looking for a professional with previous industrial automation project experience, attention to detail and motivation for the quality that is required in these kinds of projects. To be successful in this role, you will also need to get along with different people and have a team player mentality. We appreciate past project management experience, but it’s not mandatory.
