Job Description

We are looking for Teamcenter PLM Consultant with 4 to 5 years of experience in Teamcenter PLM customization, configuration, development, and solution mapping.

Role Overview

As a PLM Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing PLM solutions (primarily Siemens Teamcenter) to support business processes across engineering and manufacturing. You will work closely with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, high-quality technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain PLM solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Collaborate with concept owners and process owners to understand business requirements
  • Analyse requirements and convert them into technical specifications
  • Contribute to quarterly planning, backlog refinement, and sprint execution
  • Identify dependencies and coordinate across teams
  • Execute development tasks, including customization and configuration of PLM systems
  • Perform unit testing and ensure code quality
  • Support integration of PLM with CAD, ERP, and other enterprise systems
  • Work closely with architects to align with solution and platform architecture
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, retrospectives, demos)
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and training materials
  • Ensure adherence to secure development practices and architectural guidelines.
  • Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards

Qualifications

What should you bring?        

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Core Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM
  • Experience in:
    • Teamcenter customization and configuration
    • Active Workspace customization
    • PLM integrations (CAD, ERP systems). Experience on T4S/T4EA
    • Product configuration within Teamcenter
  • Good programming skills (e.g., Java, C++, ITK, SOA, or related technologies)
  • Understanding of system architecture and integration patterns
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

Functional & Domain Knowledge

  • Understanding of Engineering processes such as:
    • CTO (Configure-to-Order)
    • ETO (Engineer-to-Order)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing industry PLM ecosystem

Ways of Working

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (business + IT)

Soft Skills

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ownership mindset with focus on delivery and quality
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, global team environment
  • Continuous learning attitude

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Mendix or low-code platforms
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD
  • Knowledge of PLM transformation initiatives
