We are recruiting an Apprentice Administrator to join our team in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.
This is a fantastic opportunity for those who want a career in Fleet Administration and Procurement; our apprenticeship scheme is a 15 months’ course (on the job learning), based in the office (supported through our training provider), during which time you’ll build your skills and knowledge.
Joining a friendly, inclusive, and highly skilled team, you will work in a fast paced and dynamic office environment, learning administration tasks relating to Fleet and Procurement. On successful completion of your apprenticeship and satisfactory performance, you will be offered a full-time permanent position.
You’ll learn:
Fleet administration duties:
- Update Portals with fleet details.
- Hire vehicles/off hire vehicles.
- Check MOT/Tax validity and ensure vehicles are compliant.
- Check invoices are correct to our fleet list.
- Expedite vehicle repairs by calling the garage/lease provider.
Procurement duties:
- Raise purchase orders in SAP.
- Create Info records in SAP.
- Contact vendors to resolve invoice queries.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to clear invoice queries.
- Monitor central email box and respond/resolve queries.
On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will receive the following qualifications as well as full-time permanent employment.
- Business Administration Level 3
- Customer Services Level 2
- Customer Services Level 3

To be successful in our apprenticeship scheme, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills.
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent grades 4 or above
- IT Literate and willing to learn new systems.
- Good communicator
- Good customer service awareness
- Good problem solver
- Good time management skills
- Someone who wants to be part of a team
