Konecranes Group Treasury is a team of professionals coordinating financial risk-related activities across the Konecranes Group. We manage internal and external funding, financial risks, cash and liquidity, and bank relationships.
We are looking for a Treasury Controller to join our team. Start date is flexible - we’re happy to onboard as soon as you’re ready. The role is hybrid-remote and based in our headquarters in Hyvinkää, Finland.
As our new Treasury Controller, you’ll be part of a global team and work closely with stakeholders across the business. You’ll oversee all Treasury accounting, cash governance and financial risk reporting for a global industrial enterprise. The position is accountable for the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of treasury-related financial information and for building a high-reliability control environment that supports liquidity management, capital structure decisions, and financial market activities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for all treasury activities, including cash, debt, derivatives, investments and intercompany funding
- Own treasury-related disclosures for statutory and consolidated reporting under IFRS including fair value measurements, hedge accounting, and debt covenant
- Manage accounting for complex capital markets transactions such as bond issuances, loan facilities, interest rate and FX hedges
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and auditor expectations
- Certain duties related to back office by nature
- Serve as expert for treasury accounting module within the Treasury Management System implementation
What should you bring?
- A master’s or a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field
- Extensive experience in corporate treasury, technical accounting, or financial control within a multinational public company; capital goods or industrial sector experience advantageous
- Deep expertise in IFRS with strong command of hedge accounting, fair value measurement, and financial instrument standards
- Proactive, energetic and persistent attitude
- Proficiency with ERP and TMS platforms (e.g., SAP, FIS, TWIN).
- Excellent stakeholder management and clear communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across a multicultural, global organisation
- Strong analytical skills
- Accuracy with numbers
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Fluency in Finnish and English
