Trainee - SAP SD

Konecranes Information Technology organization secures sustainable growth and operational excellence through IT Innovation and data insights. The service portfolio is wide; from IT services provided to enable Konecranes business processes, through Helpdesk, all the way to the business intelligence and analytics identifying new business opportunities.

We are currently seeking candidates for a trainee position in the SAP SD module within our organization. This role offers the opportunity to expand your knowledge of the SAP SD module and familiarize yourself with the business processes utilized at Konecranes. Additionally, you will have the chance to work on real-time tickets that are part of our daily operations.

Your key responsibilities:

• The successful candidate must acquire knowledge in SAP SD modules and other cross-functional modules as necessary.
• It is advantageous to proactively pursue learning opportunities alongside developing SAP skills.
• Flexibility in working various shifts is essential to provide timely customer support when required.
• Adherence to company policies, values, and code of conduct is mandatory.
• Furthermore, adherence to operational procedures compliant with audit requirements is imperative.

What should you bring?      

IT skills:              

• Good to have a good understanding of the Standard SAP Sales & Distribution module. Understanding of different SAP functional areas like Pricing, Stock Transfer Orders, Consignment and Third-Party sales are desirables with relevant business process knowledge.
• A grasp of ITIL concepts is advantageous.
• Knowledge of IDOC, EDI processes.
• Good to have working experience on the SAP system as an End User.
• Willingness to work as a techno-functional consultant.
• Understanding of LSMW concepts and Data migration concepts is desirable.
• Awareness about ISO 14001, 45001 requirements is also valued.

General Skills:

• Strong interpersonal skills are essential, demonstrating both the capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within team dynamics as required.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities are crucial.
• Should be flexible to take up any challenge offered based on business need.
• Should be comfortable using basic MS-Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
• Nice to have experience in interacting with the global team set-up.

• We will provide comprehensive training on all SAP standard processes currently utilized at Konecranes.
