Systems Engineer Electrification

Core Responsibilities

1. Define the system-level functions and technical requirements for core electrical components such as batteries, inverters, electric motors, and charging systems, and guide the direction of core technologies.
2. Take the lead in system architecture development, clarify cross-subsystem modular interfaces, and promote modular and scalable designs to support the product series strategy.
3. Be responsible for integrating the electrification system with the vehicle platform, coordinating cross-functional teams including mechanics, software, control, and manufacturing, to ensure system compatibility and efficient collaboration.
4. Serve as the technical leader for suppliers and engineering partners, coordinating with strategic procurement departments to ensure the quality, technical consistency, and compliance of deliverables.
5. Lead system-level verification and verification activities, including simulations, HIL, and physical tests, and closely collaborate with V&V engineers to advance test implementation.
6. Cooperate with compliance engineers to ensure the system complies with functional safety and related regulatory standards, familiar with ISO 14001 and 45001 standard requirements.
7. Participate in design cost control and cost/performance trade-off analysis, optimize system cost-effectiveness; maintain core system documents such as DFMEA and interface control documents to ensure traceability of requirements.
8. Coordinate with the product management department to ensure long-term product functionality consistency, regularly report project progress and deviations, and propose improvement suggestions.

1. Relevant majors such as Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, etc., with a bachelor's degree or above.
2. At least 5 years of experience in electrification systems, with experience in heavy vehicles, commercial vehicles, or industrial machinery preferred.
3. Proficient in battery systems (lithium-ion, BMS), power electronic equipment (inverter, converter), motor control, and vehicle communication protocols such as CAN/LIN.
4. Capable of practical application of system modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.
5. Bonus points for familiarity with ISO 26262 and other functional safety standards.
6. Fluent in Mandarin and English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
7. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and adept at cross-functional collaboration and technical relationship management with external partners.
8. Facts-oriented, with strategic vision and attention to detail, eager to learn new technologies and drive continuous improvement.
9. Curious and cooperative, with a proactive work attitude, and a focus on diversity and inclusiveness.

Scope of authority:

The System Engineer Electrification has the ownership of electrification system development, based on engineering and the authority to act accordingly.
