We are now seeking for a Sustainability Reporting Manager. The Sustainability Reporting Manager is responsible for leading the creation of the annual CSRD report, ensuring comprehensive and accurate disclosure of the company’s sustainability performance. In this role, you will be collaborating and coordinating with various departments to gather necessary data, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting standards, and presenting the findings to stakeholders. You’ll also work closely with the group finance team to ensure the integration of ESG into the corporate reporting system.
You will be part of the group sustainability team which is driving Konecranes’ group level sustainability agenda forward. The team are responsible for reporting, communication and driving several strategic initiatives to lead the change.
The position reports to the Vice President, Sustainability.
Your key responsibilities
- Project management of the annual CSRD aligned Sustainability Statement and potentially other sustainability reports. You will also help integrating the ESG reporting process within the existing financial closing process.
- Coordinate the disclosure delivery. You will also create and edit needed disclosures, both narratives and numbers, for reports in cooperation with the data owners. Finally, you will be responsible for the consolidation of the disclosures to the final report.
- Controllership of the ESG data (e.g., owner of the reporting process from the data perspective) including risk assessment and control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of ESG data.
- Develop data processes and data collection together with the data owners.
- Train and inform the key stakeholders on reporting processes, controls, and the value of the reporting.
- Lead the limited assurance process.
- Follow and ensure the compliance with the relevant ESG reporting regulations, like EU CSRD, ESRS and Taxonomy regulations.
What should you bring?
We are looking for a seasoned specialist who has the ability to write narrative disclosures, understands the controlling principles over the numeric data, and can collaborate and align processes together with sustainability, finance, investor relations and communications departments.
You’ll be successful in this role if you have:
- Academic degree in relevant field, e.g., in finance, business, or sustainability.
- At least 4 years of work experience in a sustainability reporting or controlling position with a link to ESG, or relevant experience from a consulting or auditing firm.
- Great project management and collaboration skills.
- Good analytical skills and a structured and detail-oriented working style.
- Co-operative way of working and ability to engage with a wide stakeholder network
- Hands on and proactive attitude.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Fluent English.
