We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Purchasing to join our Port Cranes business team in Hyvinkää. As a Purchasing Summer Trainee you will be working with operative purchasing team and support them in various daily activities. Your daily responsibilities include for example updating data in SAP environment, creating purchase orders and recording confirmations, handling vendor invoices and cooperating with internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with your team members who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooperation skills and network with the best talents of your industry. The job is located in Hyvinkää with the possibility for partial remote work.

What kind of talent are we looking for?

This role is ideal for a business, technical or industrial management student who is eager to learn more about project purchasing tasks. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your good teamwork skills, hard-working attitude, and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.

Requirements:

•  Academic background in, e.g. BSc. or MSc. in business, engineering, logistics, industrial management or relevant (preferably 3rd-5th year studies)
• Good English language skills, Finnish and other language skills are an asset
• Knowledge in traditional IT-programs e.g. Microsoft Office, Email, etc.
• Interest to work in project environment
