We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Quality Engineer to join our Quality team in Continuous Improvement department in BU Quay at Hyvinkää. As a Quality Summer Trainee you will be working with different quality management related topics and collaborate with experts from various areas such as project management, engineering and supply. Your daily responsibilities include for example

• Coordinating non-nonconformities and following rectifying actions until the completion
• Co-operation with different internal and external stakeholders
• Leading your own small development projects

You will work closely with your team members who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooperation skills and network with the best talents of your industry. The job is located in Hyvinkää with the possibility for partial remote work.

What kind of talent are we looking for?

This role is ideal for a engineering student who is eager to learn more about quality management and manufacturing business tasks. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your great teamwork skills including communication, analytical approach in your way of working, hard-working attitude, and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.

Requirements:

• Academic background in automation, electrical, industrial or mechanical engineering (preferably 2nd-4th year studies)
• Understanding of mechanical and/or electrical drawings from your studies or working life
• Knowledge in traditional IT-programs e.g. Microsoft Office, Email, etc.
• Earlier work experience in similar tasks and with SAP and Teamcenter are seen as a beneficial
