We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Purchasing to join our Port Services Materials Management team in Hyvinkää, Finland. As a Purchasing Trainee you will be working with global operative purchasing tasks. Your daily responsibilities include for example purchasing transaction processing, order follow-up, data management and support tasks. You will work closely with your team members who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooperation skills and network with the best talents of your industry. The job is located in Hyvinkää, Finland, with the possibility to work partly remotely.

What kind of talent are we looking for?

This role is ideal for a Business Administration, Engineering or Manufacturing student who is eager to learn more about purchasing tasks in Global Spare Parts Materials Management team. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your good teamwork skills, hard-working attitude, and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.

Requirements:

• Academic background in Business Administration, Engineering or Manufacturing (preferably 2nd-4th year studies)
• Understanding of Supply Chain or Purchasing basics from your studies or working life
• You know how to use traditional IT-programs e.g. ERP system, Microsoft Office, Email, etc.
• Earlier work experience in similar tasks is seen as a beneficial
