We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Purchaser, to join our Materials Management team in Hämeenlinna. As a Purchaser you will be purchasing components and materials to Hämeenlinna production lines and ensure the availability of materials to support smooth manufacturing operations. Your daily tasks include activities such as releasing purchase orders, monitoring their progress, and resolving issues in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will work closely with your team members who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities. The job is in Hämeenlinna, with the possibility to work partly remote after introduction period.

What kind of talent are we looking for?

This role is ideal for a UAS or University student. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your good teamwork skills, hard-working attitude, and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.

Requirements:

• Academic background: UAS or University (e.g. engineering or economics)
• You know how to use basic IT-software (e.g. Microsoft Office)
• Earlier work experience in similar tasks or in factory environment is seen as a beneficial
• Finnish language skills are considered an advantage, but not mandatory
