We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Production Coordinator to join our Supply Operations Coordination team to work on Port Crane delivery projects in Hyvinkää. Supply organization consists of global and local operations and comprises safety, procurement, manufacturing, subcontracting, logistics, site operations and operations coordination. Supply has a vital role in building a scalable business model that fulfils the qualitative and quantitative targets of our operations, despite the prevailing market conditions. As a Product Coordinator you will be coordinating and managing the material flow from engineering to site. You will be working simultaneously on several delivery projects led by several project managers. The role of the Production Coordinator is critical in the successful execution of a project. The job might require occasional travel within Finland or abroad. The position is based in Hyvinkää with the possibility for partial remote work.
Your main responsibilities include
- Coordinating the delivery project with other stakeholders in the project team according to the project and process requirements
- Close co-operation with engineering, therefore a good knowledge in reading drawings is beneficial
- Preparing project material flow and delivery plans
- Initiating and managing the delivery project at 1KC and other dedicated systems
- Controlling the production of the delivery project in close co-operation and active communication with internal and external suppliers
- React to unexpected situations in the supply chain
- Improving the Port Crane delivery process and production coordination

Qualifications
What kind of talent are we looking for?
The position is ideal for a person with strong knowledge in technical matters obtained from work experience, studies or hobbies. You are preferably at the end of your studies or a Bachelor or Master of Engineering from a suitable area. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your proactiveness, ability to think outside the box and create innovative solutions to complex problems, ability to work independently and deliver on results. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.
Requirements:
- Studies in engineering or sciences (at least 3rd-4th year or a Bachelor's or Master's degree)
- Strong technical skills
- Knowledge in Konecranes OR other IT systems and supply chains
- Target oriented and analytical
- Good communication skills
- Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and make quick decisions
- Fluency in English, other languages are an asset
- Willingness to travel occasionally
